SEC. 9106. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

Section 726 of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C.

11435) is amended to read as follows:

``SEC. 726. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

``There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subtitle

$85,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2017 through 2020.''.

``For the purpose of carrying out this subtitle, there are

authorized to be appropriated $70,000,000 for fiscal year 2002 and such

sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2003 through 2007.''.

SEC. 1033. CONFORMING AMENDMENT.

The table of contents of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act

(42 U.S.C. 11301 note) is amended so that the items relating to subtitle

B of title VII read as follows:
